Membership terms and conditions

Memberships:

Membership grants the membership holder access to sessions, open gyms, and some special events depending on the membership type purchased. Becoming a member means that you agree to follow all the written rules of the gym and to follow all verbal rules and safety guidelines spoken by the Freedom in Motion staff. Failure to follow these rules may result in one’s removal from a session, removal from the gym, loss of membership, or loss of access into our facility

All memberships, including this one, are automatically billing memberships. Your payment method will be charged automatically for the amount of this membership once every billing cycle; payments run on Mondays.

For questions, membership upgrades, changes, or 7-day cancellation notices please contact us via the “Contact us” options on our website. Choose your gym location and send us an email.

Auto Payments:

Memberships are automatically set to bill weekly by default. If you do not wish for weekly billing, you must let us know of your 7-day cancellation at the date of purchase. Any payment method on your account may be used for automatic billing and past-due bill collection. You authorise Freedom in Motion to use any payment method on your gym account for payment of this membership.

Quarterly Billing Membership Plans: If your membership is a quarterly billing membership then it will automatically bill once every twelve (12) weeks. Your payment will show the total of 12 weeks of membership dies all billed in a single transaction.

4% Processing fee

All memberships are subject to a 4% processing fee. 4% of the total price of your membership will be added to your recurring bill and will be automatically charged using any form of payment on file.
How to remove this fee: Members may place two or more payment methods on their gym profile inorder for this 4% fee to be waived. Accounts that use ACH bank transfers to pay for their membership will qualify for this 4% fee being waived. Payment methods must be eligible, active, and not expired to qualify for the 4% processing fee to be waived.

Missed Payments:

If payments are missed on your membership, you agree to allow Freedom in Motion to contact you in order to resolve this billing issue. You also agree to allow freedom in motion to manually run any payment methods on your account in order to collect your missed bill. We may attempt to collect your missed payment at any time after its passing due date. We may collect multiple missed bills on a single day if necessary.

Late Policy:

These policies take effect when students arrive late to a session.

Arriving 5 minutes late will void your online reservation; waitlist clients may take a late student’s place after 5 minutes. After 15 minutes, no students may enter the session as they have missed the warm-up, which is vital to success and safety. The coach may choose to accept very late students if the session has two or fewer students present.

Late Pick-Up: Failure to pick your child up after a camp, event, session, or service when it results in our staff needing to pay special attention to the child will result in a $25 fee per every 15 minutes the child is left at Freedom in Motion.

No-Show Policy:

Spots in our sessions are scarce due to our balanced coach-to-student ratio. Failure to show up to your booked session impacts other students by taking spots away from others who otherwise would have attended the session. As a result, booking a session and failing to arrive at your session will result in a $10 no-show fee. Failure to remove yourself from a session online within 24 hours will result in this $10 no-show fee or a $10 late cancellation fee. To avoid this, remove yourself from the session online sooner than 24 hours.

Holds:

Holds may be placed on an account when members won’t be able to come to the gym for a few weeks yet but still wish to keep their membership. To request a hold simply complete this form and let us know. We can hold a membership for up to 3 months. In most situations, a holding fee of $12 may be applied. Find the hold form on this linked page, beow. This may also be found in the “Help” section of our website by searching the word “Hold”

5% Membership annual price increase:

Each year, this membership is subject to a 5% annual price increase. This price increase will happen automatically In January of the new year. Your membership billing cycle will reflect this annual price increase, and your payment methods on file will be used to pay for this membership as per usual before and after this price increase takes affect each year.

You acknowledge that at the end of your requested hold duration that your membership will automatically reactivate, and resume weekly billing.

Cancellations:

Cancellation Policy

Members may end their membership at any time provided they are not on a unique long-term membership contract. There is a required 7-day notice before ending your plan. To submit your 7-day notice and begin the process to end a membership all members must submit the Exit interview form (link provided below). A phone call with a team member is required to complete this exit interview and end your membership. Once this form and phone call are completed your membership will be set to end 7 days later, beginning once we receive this completed form. You will have just one more bill, since it will be within the 7-days. Then your plan will end before it bills again that following Monday. Until then, you can continue to enjoy your membership or give your final days to a friend. In other words, you have one more bill to go, then your membership ends that next Sunday night before the would-be next bill date.

In short, you must complete the exit interview form and phone call to officially submit your 7-day notice to end your plan. An end date will be set on your plan 7 days later. Failure to complete the exit interview form or phone call will result in your membership continuing to auto bill each week regardless of your participation in weekly sessions.

Verbal in-person, phone call requested, or voicemail message cancelations will not be accepted.

Membership terminations by FiM Staff

There are occasions when the FiM team will elect to terminate membership of a client. This happens when the client’s overall behavior proves to be incompatible with the policies or culture of the gym. The following are the major reasons why Freedom in Motion may elect to terminate a membership. The gym staff may elect to issue a warning, and in most cases, will do so if a membership termination is imminent. However, the FiM staff may choose to terminate any membership at any time for any reason. These reasons will most often fall within the confines of this section of the terms and conditions agreement.

  1. Lack of respect & the relationship is not improving: FiM may terminate a membership if the demeanor and/or rhetoric of a client is consistently disrespectful.

  2. Consistent breach of write gym policy, like our No-show policy or not following safety protocols.

  3. Extreme resistance to gym culture: A member may be removed for fighting with or verbally abusing any other person in the gym, or in our online groups. Consistent behavioral issues while in session or while in the gym or at gym events. A consistent inability to keep conversations civil, respectful, and productive.

Refunds:

All refunds will be made as Freedom in Motion Gym account credits. If the Freedom in Motion staff has suspended your ability to visit the gym, you may use your credit on training gear and online training programs.

7-day Money-back Guarantee:

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, for whatever reason, you’re unhappy with your membership, you may request a cancellation within seven (7) days of purchase to place an end to your membership and receive your money back for all unused services. Please complete this form to initiate your 7-day refund. https://forms.gle/JmfEYee2SdrTt8qK9 A cancelation phone call may be required to confirm and process your cancellation.
